This course, Risk Management in Organizations, equips leaders and practitioners with the frameworks, tools, and practical skills needed to identify, assess, respond to, and monitor risks that threaten organizational objectives. Through a blend of principles, case-based learning, and practical techniques, participants will learn to embed risk-aware decision-making into strategy, operations, and culture to improve resilience, protect value, and enable informed growth.
Objectives
2. Apply qualitative and simple quantitative techniques to assess likelihood, impact and residual risk.
3. Prioritize risks using risk appetite, cost–benefit and resource constraints to focus mitigation effort.
4. Create and document mitigation plans with owners, timelines, KPIs and escalation triggers.
5. Produce concise risk reports and dashboards to support governance, decision-making and incident response.
