Introduction
Negotiation Skills for Engineers develops the practical negotiation capabilities required to achieve successful technical, commercial, and project outcomes. Engineers regularly negotiate project scope, technical specifications, schedules, budgets, resources, contracts, and stakeholder expectations. Effective negotiation helps reduce project risks, improve collaboration, and deliver solutions that balance technical requirements with commercial objectives.
This five-day course combines negotiation principles with engineering and project-based scenarios. Participants will learn structured negotiation methods, communication techniques, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution while practising realistic engineering case studies. The course equips engineers with practical tools to negotiate confidently with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
