Introduction
Human Resource Skills for New Managers provides first-line and newly appointed managers with the practical people management knowledge needed to lead teams effectively. As managers often become responsible for employees without formal HR training, they must understand how to recruit, onboard, develop, support, and manage performance while complying with organisational policies and employment requirements.
This five-day course develops the essential HR management skills required to supervise employees confidently and consistently. Participants will learn practical techniques for recruitment, performance management, employee relations, coaching, communication, and handling common workplace situations through realistic case studies and management exercises.
Objectives

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
