Introduction
This five-day course teaches practical recruitment skills for hiring the right people. You will learn workforce planning, writing effective job descriptions, sourcing candidates, running structured interviews and making fair selection decisions. The course covers employment law basics, inclusive hiring practices, candidate experience and recruitment metrics. Materials include templates, checklists and practice exercises you can apply immediately.
Objectives
2. Build and execute a sourcing plan using direct outreach, advertising and referral channels.
3. Conduct structured interviews and assessment tasks that reduce bias and improve decision consistency.
4. Apply core employment law and documentation practices to keep hiring compliant and auditable.
5. Define and use recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, cost-per-hire) to improve process performance.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
