Introduction
This five-day course teaches practical techniques for creating and maintaining financial forecasts that support operational and strategic decisions. You will learn driver-based modeling, cash-flow forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and methods for testing and documenting assumptions. The focus is on producing clear, auditable forecasts that stakeholders can use. Accurate, repeatable forecasting matters now because tighter margins, changing demand and constrained capital make forward-looking clarity essential.
Objectives
2. Create and validate cash-flow projections and short-term liquidity plans.
3. Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify downside risk and upside opportunity.
4. Design a month-end forecasting workflow with reconciliation, version control and documentation.
5. Translate forecast outputs into concise management reports and decision-oriented dashboards for executives and investors.
