Introduction
Microsoft PowerPoint is one of the most widely used presentation tools in the workplace. It enables users to communicate ideas visually, organise information clearly, and deliver professional presentations for meetings, training sessions, and business discussions. Understanding the fundamentals of PowerPoint helps users create presentations that are both effective and visually engaging.
This five-day course introduces the essential features of Microsoft PowerPoint through practical, hands-on activities. Participants will learn how to create, edit, format, and deliver presentations using slides, images, charts, tables, animations, and presentation tools while applying good design principles suitable for professional environments.
Objectives
2. Insert and format text, images, tables, charts, shapes, and SmartArt to communicate information effectively.
3. Apply basic transitions, animations, and multimedia features to improve audience engagement.
4. Organise, edit, and manage presentations using slide sorting, notes, and presentation views.
5. Deliver presentations confidently using Presenter View, slide show tools, and basic presentation techniques.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
