Introduction

This five-day course teaches practical skills for planning and running event logistics. It covers supplier coordination, site planning, transport, storage and on-site operations. Sessions mix short lectures, real scenarios and hands-on exercises. The aim is to reduce delays, control costs and manage risk so events meet client requirements and regulatory standards.

1. Create a complete event logistics plan with site layout, timelines, resource lists and critical path.
2. Produce and manage an event logistics budget with vendor quotes, cost tracking and contingency allowances.
3. Select and negotiate suppliers using clear specifications, service levels and contract checkpoints.
4. Design transport, traffic and freight plans that address access, loading, parking and attendee flows.
5. Run on-site logistics operations and conduct a structured post-event review to capture lessons and close out suppliers.
