Introduction

Emotional intelligence is a practical skill that improves communication, decision-making, and team outcomes. This five-day course teaches how to read emotions in yourself and others, manage your reactions, and influence conversations constructively. You will work on typical workplace situations: feedback, conflict, and leading change. It matters because teams are more distributed and decisions involve more stakeholders. Emotional dynamics now shape performance, collaboration, and retention.

Objectives

Identify emotional cues in meetings and one-on-ones and name their likely impact on behavior.
Use specific self-regulation techniques to stay calm and effective during tense interactions.
