Introduction
This 27-day course prepares operatives to plan and deliver close protection for high-risk principals. Training is practical and scenario-based. Modules cover threat assessment, protective planning, protective driving, firearms and tactical response, and trauma care. Emphasis is on lawful decision-making, risk reduction, and team coordination.
Objectives
2. Produce and implement protective plans, including advance work, route selection, and contingency procedures.
3. Execute close protection techniques: formations, dynamic egress, protective driving, and crowd management under stress.
4. Perform life-saving trauma care and casualty management until medical handover.
5. Coordinate operations with local authorities, event security, and logistics to deconflict environments and manage incidents.
