Introduction
This five-day course teaches how to design, build, and maintain data visualizations and dashboards that drive better decisions. You will practice translating business questions into metrics, choosing effective visuals, and assembling interactive dashboards in common BI tools. The curriculum covers performance, usability, and governance so outputs remain reliable and reusable.
Objectives
2. Choose chart types, visual encodings, and layouts that make the right insight obvious.
3. Build interactive, filterable dashboards using Power BI or Tableau (hands-on exercises).
4. Improve dashboard performance and maintainability through better data models, calculations, and asset organization.
5. Run user testing, incorporate feedback, and document governance and versioning practices for ongoing use.
