You will learn how to identify where economic value is created, which competitive moves matter, and how to turn analysis into implementable choices. The course uses case work so you leave with evidence-based recommendations you can act on.

- Apply industry-structure analysis (including Five Forces) to assess where profits are generated and at risk.
- Map value chains and customer segments to identify 2–3 concrete sources of advantage or vulnerability.
- Build concise competitor profiles and use simple strategic logic to predict likely responses.
- Translate strategic findings into quantified scenarios and the basic financial implications (margin, share, growth).
- Produce a one-page strategic recommendation and a 12-month implementation plan with clear metrics and next steps.
