Introduction

Professional etiquette affects credibility, collaboration, and career progression. This five-day course focuses on practical behaviors for face-to-face and virtual work. You will practice realistic workplace scenarios: meetings, calls, emails, feedback, and cross-cultural exchanges. The aim is fewer misunderstandings and clearer professional relationships.

Objectives

1. Demonstrate polished meeting behavior for in-person and virtual settings: punctual starts, clear agendas, turn-taking, and appropriate camera/microphone use.
2. Write concise, purpose-driven emails and messages with clear subject lines, calls to action, and audience-appropriate tone.
3. Run professional phone and video calls using effective openings/closings, signal checks, and techniques for handling interruptions.
4. Give and receive constructive feedback using structured frameworks while maintaining professional composure.
5. Adapt communication style to cultural differences, hierarchy, and power dynamics to reduce misunderstandings.
