Introduction

This five-day course teaches practical skills for running and improving supply chain operations. It covers procurement, inventory, production scheduling and distribution. Participants work on real examples and create short implementation plans. The focus is on reducing cost, improving service and lowering disruption risk.

Objectives

1. Map and analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and waste.
2. Calculate and set inventory policies using ABC classification, EOQ and safety-stock formulas.
3. Build a demand-forecasting and S&OP routine with clear roles, cadence and review metrics.
4. Evaluate suppliers and structure contracts using total cost of ownership and risk criteria.
5. Define logistics and operations KPIs and produce a 90-day improvement plan using lean/continuous-improvement methods.
