Introduction
Practical English training for Air Force personnel who must communicate clearly in operations, maintenance, and joint settings. The course focuses on radio voice procedures, standard aviation phraseology, technical reading, and concise written reporting. Training uses realistic exercises: simulated radio nets, mission briefs, and document-reading tasks. Participants leave better prepared to avoid misunderstandings during routine and non-routine operations.
Objectives
2. Understand and respond to English-language ATC and allied-unit communications, including weather updates and NOTAMs.
3. Read and interpret technical manuals, checklists, charts, and maintenance documentation in English.
4. Write concise mission briefs, maintenance reports, and incident statements with correct terminology.
5. Conduct clear pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight briefings and handovers using structured language and confirmed readbacks.

- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
