Course Information

Introduction

Reporting determines which projects get support, funding and corrective action. This course teaches how to produce clear, reliable reports that drive decisions. You will work on real templates, live examples and practical governance steps. The focus is on clarity, repeatability and reducing time spent on manual reporting.

Objectives

- Design a project reporting framework that links reports to sponsor decision points and governance requirements.
- Build dashboards and visualizations that communicate status, trend and risk for different stakeholder levels.
- Draft concise executive summaries and ‘ask’ statements that prompt clear decisions and next steps.
- Implement data validation and automated refresh routines for core project metrics.
- Develop scenario and forecast presentations that compare options and show implications for scope, schedule and budget.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

Please Note:
- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
- Coffee and refreshments are available on a floating basis throughout the morning. Participants may help themselves at their convenience to ensure an uninterrupted learning experience Provided if applicable and subject to course delivery arrangements.
