Course Information

Introduction

Executive decision systems provide the structures, processes, and governance needed to make consistent, timely, and well-informed decisions across an organisation. Rather than relying on individual judgement alone, effective organisations establish clear decision rights, escalation paths, performance measures, and review mechanisms that improve accountability and execution.

This five-day course equips senior leaders with practical tools to design and improve executive decision systems. Participants will learn how to establish decision governance, define decision authorities, implement decision frameworks, monitor outcomes, and continuously improve organisational decision-making through practical case studies and executive workshops.

Objectives

1. Design an executive decision system that defines decision authority, governance, workflows, and accountability across the organisation.
2. Apply structured decision frameworks to improve consistency, transparency, and execution of strategic and operational decisions.
3. Establish decision governance processes, escalation procedures, and approval mechanisms for complex business issues.
4. Develop decision performance metrics and review processes to evaluate outcomes and support continuous improvement.
5. Lead executive decision forums that encourage collaboration, effective communication, and evidence-based decision-making.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

Please Note:
- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
- Coffee and refreshments are available on a floating basis throughout the morning. Participants may help themselves at their convenience to ensure an uninterrupted learning experience Provided if applicable and subject to course delivery arrangements.
