Course Information

Introduction

Conflict is a natural part of every workplace. When managed effectively, it encourages innovation, improves communication, and strengthens working relationships. When ignored or poorly managed, however, conflict can reduce productivity, damage morale, increase staff turnover, and expose organisations to legal and reputational risks.
This five-day course provides practical techniques for preventing, managing, and resolving workplace conflict. Participants will learn how to identify the root causes of conflict, communicate effectively during difficult conversations, negotiate mutually beneficial solutions, and apply structured conflict resolution methods. Through realistic case studies, role-play exercises, and practical tools, participants will build the confidence to resolve disputes professionally while maintaining positive working relationships.

Objectives

Apply effective communication, active listening, and emotional intelligence techniques to prevent and de-escalate workplace disputes.
