Introduction

This five-day course teaches practical skills for producing business reports that people can trust and act on. You will learn how to turn raw data into repeatable reports, design clear dashboards, and communicate results to stakeholders. The emphasis is on accuracy, reproducibility, and fit-for-purpose presentation. The content is hands-on and tied to common reporting workflows.

Objectives

1. Define KPI frameworks and map them to data sources and business questions.
2. Build repeatable data preparation and transformation pipelines for reporting.
3. Create dashboards and paginated reports with appropriate visualizations.
4. Apply testing, version control, and deployment practices to maintain report reliability.
5. Package and deliver reports, including scheduled distribution and stakeholder summaries.
